WHAT IS FOREVERSCHOOLS?

FOREVERSCHOOLS is a partnership between the Fund for Public Education and Teton County School District #1. Our goal is to raise $14 MILLION by 2026 to ensure the future of Teton County Wyoming’s public schools.

WHY DO OUR SCHOOLS NEED YOUR HELP?

Recent years have brought tremendous growth and change to our community, leaving our public schools to face serious new challenges. New growth is causing schools to reach their capacity much more quickly than expected. Changing demographics mean a greater need for wellness support among students and families. And the lack of affordable housing leaves many teachers and staff feeling like they have no future in our community.

By coming together to support our schools, we can ensure that every child has a safe, healthy, and extraordinary education; that our teachers can build amazing careers in our community, and that Jackson Hole continues to thrive as the community we know and love.

WHY THE FUND FOR PUBLIC EDUCATION?

Giving through the Fund for Public Education is a safe and easy way to support Teton County’s public schools. We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit school foundation, Since 2007, our sole mission has been to raise funds and provide support for TCSD#1.

OUR GOALS

FOREVERSCHOOLS is raising a total of $14M to help ensure a bright future for our schools and students.

$3M GOAL 1: BUILD TCSD EMPLOYEE HOUSING

In order to provide its staff with a secure and affordable future, TCSD is ready to build the first of three planned 24-unit apartment complexes near Jackson Hole Middle School. $16M in SPET funding has already been secured to design and break ground on the first building. We’re raising another $3M to get the ball rolling on the remaining two buildings and to provide additional housing options for TCSD staff.

$4M GOAL 2: INCREASE SCHOOL CAPACITY

TCSD schools are quickly reaching their capacity. This fund ensures the success of key projects like the Bronc Achievement Center, the McIntosh Stadium Update, classroom expansions, and more to quickly provide the district with greater capacity as it grows.

$7M GOAL 3: ESTABLISH AN ENDOWMEMT

The Fund for Public Education supports essential projects and programs that don’t fall under TCSD’s budget including scholarships, healthcare for kids in need, free meals for students, and much more. By building an endowment and growing capacity, we ensure that TCSD kids will have support for generations to come.

Each of the campaign goals of FOREVERSCHOOLS answers a specific unmet need in our district. The district capacity initiative helps expand and build the facilities that our students and teachers depend upon. District housing makes it possible to attract and retain the best staff by offering them a secure future in Jackson. And the creation of a lasting endowment ensures that our schools will have the support they need for years to come. We could not hope for a better partner than the Fund for Public Education. Together we’re building a stronger, brighter future for Teton County’s public schools.”
