DID YOU KNOW?
McIntosh Stadium has no locker rooms? The home team changes in a portable garden shed, while the away team changes in available classrooms.
WHERE WILL THE STABLE BE BUILT?
The old bleachers on the south side of McIntosh Stadium are being removed. The STABLE will sit there, centered on the field, and new portable bleachers will be added for use by the visiting team.
WHAT WILL THE BUILDING INCLUDE?
The STABLE includes two sets of locker rooms, coaching offices, an athletic training room, laundry facilities, equipment storage, an indoor viewing area, and multi-purpose space that can be used for team celebrations, teacher training, or academic testing such as ACT, AP, and WY-TOPP.
WHO CAN USE THE STABLE?
The STABLE will be available to all teams who use the stadium or the adjacent fields, including community clubs or teams that have a facilities agreement with the school district. All together this building will serve thousands of local kids.
HOW IS THE STABLE FUNDED?
The STABLE is 100% funded by private donations. There are no state or federal dollars available to support this project. This is truly an example of our community coming together to make great things happen for local athletes.
HOW MUCH WILL IT COST AND WHEN WILL IT BE BUILT?
The STABLE is estimated to cost about $7.5M for design and construction. We plan to break ground in the 2024-2025 school year. Give today and help us make this dream a reality for young athletes!
