Feeding the Whole
Feeding the Whole is a partnership between the Fund for Public Education and TCSD#1, which ensures that every child has access to nutritious and affordable meals at school. Feeding the Whole's Meal Support initiative provides free meals and school lunch debt assistance to students in need.
Parents, guardians, TCSD#1 teachers, administrators and counseling staff may apply for this program on behalf of any students. Note, you must apply for the federal free and reduced lunch program prior to applying for Feeding the Whole. Contact us if you have any questions.

Jean Coldsmith Mental Health Fund
Jean Coldsmith was a champion for all students, but worked especially hard for those who had suffered trauma or loss in their lives. These, grants, created in her memory, pay for vital mental health services and are available to any TCSD#1 student who is in need of care. The application process is completely confidential. Awards vary in amount and are based on the services needed.
TCSD#1 teachers, administrators and counseling staff may apply for this grant on behalf of any student. Please note that applications are shared with student support staff for approval and identify any other resources available.
The application below is for uninsured students. If you have insured students with extenuating circumstances that prohibit them from accessing mental health services, please complete the Financial Hardship Application. Note that family income information is required.

Straighten Up
Straighten Up will pay for an entire course of orthodontic braces for a child who would not otherwise have access to treatment. To be eligible the student must meet the following criteria: be age 11-18; have a record of good oral hygiene, including documentation of regular dentist visits and cleanings; provide a Dental Referral Form from a licensed dentist; and must agree to attend all scheduled appointments, follow the orthodontist's instructions for care of teeth and braces, and complete all required follow-up care.
The application should be completed by athe TCSD staff member who is recommending the student.

Love Your Teeth
Love Your Teeth provides free dental screenings and pays for dental care for any TCSD student who would not otherwise have access to treatment. To be eligible the student must agree to attend all scheduled appointments, follow the dentist's instructions for care of teeth, and complete all required follow-up care.
This application should be completed by the school nurse or other TCSD staff member who is recommending the student.

Jim and Becky Rooks Afterschool Activity Fund
This grant helps students participate in afterschool activities that they would otherwise be unable to afford. The funds can be used to pay for equipment, uniforms, travel, dues, or registration fees. Maximum award is $200 per student for each activity.
Although the program only supports TCSD students, it covers expenses for any afterschool activity. The application must be completed by a coach, instructor, or chaperone from that activity.

Middle Market: Big 5 & School Supplies
This program offers school supplies and winter clothes (big 5) for students who cannot afford these items themselves. Parents and TCSD staff can apply on behalf of any TCSD student.
All applications will be sent to the counseling staff for approval. When an application is approved, the FPE will deliver requested items to the student support staff who can then pass them along to the student.

Casey Boyle Swimming & Diving Scholarship
Casey Boyle was a dedicated educator and coach for the Jackson Hole High School Swimming and Diving Team in Teton County, WY. His daughter, Shea, created this award to honor Casey's legacy. The scholarship supports students with a passion for water sports and aims to provide both opportunities and financial support for students to attend summer swimming or diving camps.
High school students across the state of Wyoming may apply for this scholarship.
The application period is open January 1, 2024 at 12 PM to March 31, 2024 5PM.
